Viaton actively evaluate suppliers in the context of corporate and social responsibility. Business partnerships are developed based on shared values and we are interested in promoting common sense policies which take into account the impact of our supply chain on society and the environmental challenges facing us all.

We focus on local suppliers wherever possible to minimise transport mileage and carbon dioxide emissions and to support the local economy.

From correspondence and through discussion we are aware that many of our customers have CSR policies which seek to promote awareness and focus across the supply chain. We welcome this. Dialogue and communication with customers feeds into our CSR improvement and development effort.
