CM® grades of Barium Sulphate are mined from a major faulted area within the UK, with veins, replacements and solid lenses of Barytes. Employing the latest equipment and extraction techniques the mine produces high value Barium Sulphate designed primarily for the Acoustic (Sound Proofing) markets.

A range of Barium Sulphate Aggregate and Fillers are available for the production of dense concrete and for inclusion in radiation shielding applications in the Nuclear Industry and Hospital Radiation Departments.
